Monitor the PrestaShop contact form

A broken contact form makes no noise: enquiries stop arriving, and nobody notices. This Flow fills in the form on your PrestaShop site in a real browser and checks that it stays usable, as often as you set it.

The template’s steps

  1. Opens the contact page, through the site’s link or its default address (/nous-contacter).
  2. Fills in each field of the form with test values.
  3. Checks that the send button is displayed.
  4. Stops before sending: no message goes out.

Where it was tested

Tested on the bench on PrestaShop 8 with the Classic theme. The Pathly module for PrestaShop, available on the modules page, creates the shop’s Ping on connection and offers this Flow right after.

What it never does

It submits no form and only types test values. So it does not check that the email arrives: keep one manual test send after each update.

Each proposed Flow is replayed before it is shown to you, and you validate each step.
