Check SSL certificate and domain name expiry

Paste up to 10 addresses, one per line. Pathly reads the end date of the certificate each site serves and the domain expiry published by its registry. No account, and nothing is stored.

The addresses you enter are used only for the check: they are neither stored nor published. Your IP address is used to limit abuse, in memory, and is never written down. Privacy policy.

What happens when an SSL certificate expires?

The browser shows a warning page before the site. Many visitors leave, and online payment stops. Automatic renewal sometimes fails silently: a DNS or hosting change is enough.

Why is the domain expiry not always shown?

Pathly reads it from the registry’s public RDAP directory. Some country registries do not publish this date: the tool says so instead of making up a value.

Are the sites you check stored or published?

No. The result shows in your browser and is kept nowhere, apart from a technical cache of a few minutes. There is no public list of checked sites.
